PTA Checklist:

1. Join the PTA Online for the 2024-2025 School Year

Your membership makes you a part of our collective voice for all children. The LSE PTA supports things like assemblies, field trips, Starbucks School Store, teacher and staff appreciation, literacy programs, family social events, and much more!

2. Sign up for the PTA's Student Directory

Connect with classmates for birthday parties and playdates and specify which information you'd like shared in the PTA's directory.

If you are new to LSE, Create your Account and add the join code which appears in the LSE PTA's Weekly Newsletter.

If you have an account from last year, log in and update your child(ren)'s teacher and information as you'd like it displayed.

3. Download the app!

Search Paperless PTO on the App Store or Google Play for the free download. To log in using the app, enter your email as your username and the password you created.

Student Directory

Throughout the school year the office is often asked for a class list to distribute various invitations to classmates. Unfortunately, invitations cannot be handed out in school and they are unable to share that information. The PTA directory is a perfect way to obtain that info from parents who have chosen to provide their student’s contact numbers.

This is our BIGGEST school fundraiser of the year! All students receive a FREE Fun Run t-shirt, courtesy of the PTA and community sponsors.

We Need All Parents to Complete 3 Easy Steps!

Post on social media platforms! It's two clicks of a button to post. The average parent has 300 FB friends. You'll be surprised when donations come in from distant relatives/friends from HS/co-workers. Post and see what happens!

We are SO excited to have a Good Humor Ice Cream Truck at the Fun Run this year! Each student at LSE will be provided one treat from the truck. Please fill out the Google Form for each of your students; indicating they have permission to be given the treat and the choice of treat they would like. We appreciate your promptness completing this!

LSE PTA is a volunteer-run organization, and we need your help to make this year successful for our school community! No contribution is too small. Please sign up to help on one of our planning committees. Significant efforts go on behind the scenes to make our PTA events happen. We need volunteers like you!

Trunk or Treat Committee: Interested in Halloween, event planning, logistics, or volunteering some of your time? Join our committee to help us plan one of the biggest events of the year!

Spirit Committee: Looking for co-chairs to lead this year and run events like Bingo Night, Food Drive, Spirit Weeks, and more.

Hospitality Committee: Looking for 1 more co-chair to help plan the conference night dinners, teacher/staff appreciation, and end of year luncheon.

Thank you for considering volunteering for the Fun Run on October 10, 2024 (rain date October 11th), assisting students with their prize entries (October 15th), and our grand assembly (October 16th). We couldn't do it without you!

School Store Volunteer Signup

VOLUNTEER TRAINING

You must complete volunteer training EVERY school year if you plan on attending field trips, working with students in classrooms, or helping with any school activity.
Volunteer training is completed online. Please go to Volunteer Program - Carroll County Public School District (carrollk12.org) to complete your training.
Complete your training early to allow for sufficient time for approval. If you are not approved in the system, you will not be able to volunteer.
